RimWorld is a strategy about managing an extraterrestrial colony.
RimWorld’s action takes place in the distant future, at a time when humanity colonized innumerable foreign systems. Nevertheless, she still has not been able to invent a way to exceed the speed of light, which causes that individual colonies are strongly isolated and most often only on their own. Players take command of a small group of survivors from a spacecraft crash that crashed on an alien planet as a result of a crash. At our disposal are therefore random passengers, not trained specialists.
Each character has its own story that determines the way it functions in the game. For example, a former nobleman would perfectly handle situations requiring negotiation, such as setting prices in commerce. In turn, the scientist will perform great in the laboratory, but the attempt to use it for social interactions will end in failure. We increase the number of colonists by integrating prisoners caught in battles, buying them from slave traders or accepting refugees.
During the game, we deal with constructing buildings, producing food, collecting raw materials, trading and developing colonies. Unlike most games of this type RimWorld offers a tactically developed combat system. Characters can include use shields and lean out from behind corners, and the key is getting the right positions on the battlefield.back to menu ↑
