About 101 Ways to Die
101 Ways to Die is a rather brutal – though logically realized – puzzle game with platform elements in which we help the crazy professor to create an unusual killing guide.
In the game, we play the role of assistant to crazy Professor Splattunfuder, whose sanity can be raised by reasonable doubts. At the end of his career, the scientist decided to devote himself to the creation of an unusual guide titled 101 Ways of Dying. Bad luck caused that as a result of unfortunate events, the original version of the “work” was destroyed. Our task will be to help the professor in his reconstruction, using for this purpose the legions of Splattunfudera bred innocent, but not very wise beings called Splattami.
The game mechanics at 101 Ways to Die can be described as an inverted version of popular Lemmings. During the fifty stages prepared by the creators, our goal will be not to save – but to prevent the escape of the mentioned Splatts by setting a series of fancy traps. These creatures are characterized by an extremely simple logic of movement, always choosing the shortest route to the goal, and additionally, they fall for sweets and do not deny themselves the pleasure of trying a piece of cake even at the price of losing their lives. Lapping Splatt in a trap is therefore a relatively simple task, and realizing them, we use the arsenal of gadgets like bombs, mines or teleports available at a given level.back to menu ↑
